Hi guys,
I have been helping a friend get his 82 280ZX ready for him to go to school in Washington next week. Got the intake off to replace the dreaded broken exhaust stud, replace a couple of injectors, new struts all around and just some general maintenance. Well, Tuesday night, got the rear struts installed, replaced the side seals in the diff and called it a night. Intake is off still, waiting on stud kit, injector seals and bolt kits. I planned on reinstalling the intake Wednesday and Thursday, final touches on Friday and give him back his car this weekend.
All my plans changed Wednesday morning, I had a heart attack and ended up in the ospital for a couple of days. I am on orders not to doanything strenous for at least a couple of weeks and still need to get his car done. I was doing this as a favor to his parents, so wasn't expecting to get paid for this.
If anyone is in Fort Collins and can spare some time to help this weekend or the first part of the week. We would all greatly appreciate it. Please contact via site email and I will provide a phone # so we can work out details.

What do you still need to assemble? I have fairly limited time this weekend and early part of the week because of a tuesday test, but Ill volunteer whatever time I can and all the z32 skills I have.

And don't stress a bit about it. That's the last thing you need. Your friend and his folks should be very understanding, even if he has to go back to school without the car for a month or two.

My friend and his parents aren't stressing about this one bit. We will probably have several people here this weekend helping out. I will be able to direct and instruct as they do all the work. I took it apart for ME to put back together, therefore nothing is labeled, but I know where everything goes and what needs to be done.
Zluster-The intake/exhaust injectors and such need to be installed.
There was a mixup on the new stud kit and injector seal kit, but hopefully they showed up today.

Rich, hope you are feeling a little better. I live up here and would be more then happy to help. I have limited time this weekend, but enough to help if you still need it. I am free all week after 1, so if you need another Zer's help just get back to me.
edit-If you need the help Sunday I should be free most of the afternoon. Just get back to me either on here or my email.
Also- When you do start feeling better, i could use some help tuning my 240 with SU's. i have a horibble stumble I just can't seem to fix.

Thanks for the responses everybody, I am thinking of being able to start Sunday noonish or so. We may have some others here also that are going to basicly turn where I say turn and so on. What doesn't get done Sunday, if pear15 can help in the afternoons, that would be great.
pear15 give me a couple of months and we'll get your SU's set up correctly for this area and altitude, will take about an hour or so.
