what i broke when i was driving my car really fast and bottomed out? i have been working so much that i have not had a chance to get her up to look under her skirt. when it happened there was the the sound of ground contact then the sound of some thing hiting the under body of the car. when its under load (like starting from a stop) there is a clunky rattle noise . this bothering me not having time to invesitgate and just letting it sit in the drive way. maybe tranny mount? or............im open to experiance & wisdom thanks .

how in the world would you bottom out the tranny mount. it sits a good 1/2 foot ABOVE the frame of the car.....
its GOT to be something else---

maybe you tore the dif mount...it allows the nose of the dif to rais up and the driveshaft can bang around the tranny tunnel and also hitting the ebrake.

just put in a new factory front diff mount a few months ago. but who knows i did hit hard.

well today i had some time to check out my porblem. my exhust pipe is flatend out and was crushed against the tranny cross member and the rear diff cross member . no broken parts, just had to pry it back. thank for the advice for those that didnt flame.
