WHY IS IT WHEN I READ ALL CAPS I HEAR A SCREAMING VOICE IN MY HEAD?? jfwy ;) The only game that comes to mind is Initial D, but that game doesn't have any Z cars & it has ff,mr, & awd cars too. Could it be Wangan Midnight? I dont even know what cars are in that game.

Anothger game with a Z in it is Tokyo Extreme Racer (the first one). The last boss is a 240Z, dark blue with white racing stripes...

It is Maximum Tune which is based on wangan midnight. I've played it. It's fun.
1972 240z w/L28, tokico shocks and springs, and a 5 speed waiting. Also running high performance ultra mega blinker fluid, that's at least an extra 50hp to the wheels.
1987 Toyota Supra Turbo 5-speed. Belongs to me until my friend get's back from Iraq.

Too bad the only version of those games in the states are the arcade version and that game is so hot that it still costs several thousand to get the arcade game. You can find the Japanese Playstation 2 versions but you'll need a chipped NTSC1 console or a NTSC/J console with a converter to play it. I hope you speak Japanese too. Those are the Japanese games that I still wish they had released in the US market, but at the time the games were developed there wasn't enough of a market here...they should port the arcade versions to console. I think they could make a mint from all of the wannabe drifters and ricers there are now.

Seriously though. It's a freakin' game console. Wait a few months when you can pick one up without some soccer mom tackling you. I was watching the news this morning and there were people rioting in front of a Best Buy. I guess they can't wait to pay $500 for a system that was released before all the bugs were worked out. My friend was camping out to get one (he's slightly retarded) and I went down to keep him company for the last hour or so and I had three offers to buy my spot in line. My answer: "SURE I'll sell my spot three feet left of the line for $400!" Only two of the people in line were actually keeping their systems the rest were bound for ebay. And that my friends is EXACTLY what I'm doing next big system launch. $600 for a $7000 return? Sweet! The people that pay that money aren't very smart when they could just wait 3-4 weeks and get one no problem and save thousands of dollars. I guess that's what makes the economy go 'round.

yep that game would be wangan midnight maximum tune, it based off of a manga going on 30+ volumes in japan now, there's suppose to be a PS3 and PSP game by genki coming out, plus I hear the anime is coming out spring 2007.

I didn't hear of the console game coming out. That's pretty sweet. I've looked for that manga's but haven't been able to find them around. So as far as Z car's in japanese cartoons go I'll have to stick with the Z from eX-Driver movie. It's not so bad. If you ever see a Z driving around with that paint job it'll probably be me. Because it's awsome.

maxim tune is just like intial D which is just like wangan midnight wierd must be alot of different verions because in the cineplex arcade I play maxim tune and there an z period :S I love the drifting though and the fact you can save your game
