The only info on this car is in your subject heading.
Did I miss something?
Was there photos, stats, anything?
Not trying to be an ass, I just think I missed something.

"when you get a car that costs under $2006 to go 130 mph in under 11 seconds…that is scary! A ‘74 Datsun Z with a small block V8 did just that, and boy did it sound good!"
Hardly counts, it's got a V8! :P

i'm just wondering how for the money, i know there are hidden costs in those cars,...kinda like, yeah i had those air flow research aluminum heads laying in the corner of my garage and my buddy gave me the 383 stroker and mom gave me a fogger system for my birthday, so yeah, i stayed in budget, yeah right.

If you read GRM then you'll know how they do it.
A few rules for acquiring your expensive head for next year:
16) Parts that are not used may be traded or sold up to the initial cost of the car or parts deal. In other words, if you buy a $500 Challenge car, you can recoup up to $500 of your budget by selling parts. (If you do turn a profit on selling parts off the car, we suggest you take your significant other out to dinner to compensate them for having a $2007 car hanging around the house.). Once the recouperation limit has been reached on a car or parts deals, trading is not allowed.

17) The maximum amount of money that can be "recouped" in a budget is $1003.50. This includes parts cars, parts deals and the Challenge car itself.
18) Parts that are given to the competitor by a company or person must be figured into the budget at fair market value. Sponsorships are allowed, but the values any product or service that is used in building the car must be figured into the $2007 budget.

V8 or not, its impressive! For sthose contemplating a v8 swap...heres your answer as to which engine can make more money for your $. Don't get me wrong, I run a turbo car, but for big power, the v8 is the easier and cheaper method.

here here, proven many times over. Some people just can't like a V8 and will spend twice the money, have twice the parts and complexity and still run slower then come here and talk shat. It's pretty funny really.
Hell, Brian and I both have more than $2006 in our L-series heads alone and neither of us are running 11's. I've seen turbo cars with a $2K turbo and fancy stand alone EFI that don't run 11's matter of fact many more that don't than do. James' car is kickass I'd love to have it but look whats done to it and how much it cost.
