This vid is of Mike Gadwaw AKA ZGAD over at hybridZ.org. it is a 2JZ powered 240Z at around 27 or so psi of boost. This is a street car..

Yeah I think I'm gonna be selling a few L28t motors. I just can't see putting the money into the L motor when the supra motor works so well and has more potential from the start.

well the initial cost of the 2JZ is the killer.....your looking at ATLEAST 2 grand if not 3 or 4, then you have the fab work of motor and tranny mounts, then you have to figure out the wiring.
but yes, for the money the 2JZ is still a good swap

I wouldnt count the L28et compleatly out.. Garrett ran a 11.21 @ 124mph with the L28ET.. all he has is forged pistons, SDS , 60-1 turbo Methenal and 23psi of boost. Not too shabby for the ole L..

The 2JZ Z is running a T76 turbo. It does not have a manual VB but he shifts it manually to make sure it shifts where he wants it, somewhere around 8000.

Here is a vid of Garrett Maddox driving his L28ET powered 280Z down to the low 11's..He is running a L28ET with a slight overbore, 60-1 turbo, methenol, 23psi of boost and SDS.This was done on pump gas as well. Please right click and save target as.
