AND WOW.. the quality of cars there was just amaizing. So many fast and nice looking Z's. I didnt hit the 12s like I had been hoping for. I was running 15psi and the car was doing great A/F wize but my clutch just wasnt having it. I ran a best of 13.3@103 heh MPH is LOW.. Mike gadwaw ran his best ET ever the night before the event at test and tune.. in his 2JZ powered 240Z.. ran a 9.45@143.. At the event he ran a 9.6. Scottie GNZ in his GN powered RX7 ran a nice 10.2 and there were 3 RB powered Cars there and 2 of them are good buddies of mine from here in mobile. first up is Jon taylor in his RB25 powered 280Z ran a nice 11.02, Then Dave Cruise also from Mobile running his RB26dett/ Z32 to a nice 13.4. Dave finished this conversion litterally a few nights before the event and hadnt even driven the car yet. And then the third was a guy with a RB26dett powered 280ZX.. MEAN looking ZX by the way.. he ran a 12.8. The 2 RB26 swaps were on stock turbos, injectors and ECU's. Garrett Maddox also stepped up the Bar on the L28ET times.. he ran a 11.21@ 124mph.. this is on a 3.0 ltr forged piston motor with a 60-1 turbo , 23psi of boost and methonal. If his 60ft would have been just alittle better that would have been a 10 sec pass. There are so many fast and nice Z's to talk about I could go on and on.. There will be tons of photos and videos to follow..
In march the event will be even larger. We will be cohoasting a section of the formally 300ZX nationals.. Now known as the "Z Nationals" They are having there drag day section at SEZ. should be some super fast and nice Z's We have already started the planning. Mark your calendars for March 24th and 25th. For thoes who missed this SEZ you sure missed a great time.. But get ready for March!!

24ounce, those are 82-85 toyota supra GTs wheels, wheel center must be machined to clear the front hubs on a z , you also have to use 300zx lug nuts cause they have larger holes, again this is for the 240-280 z

Picture no 57 has been in the Z books before. I think it was listed in the book as Mike Reagan's Z.

I cannot remember his name. He broke a half shaft on his first pass and Garrett hooked him up with another one. The RB25 powered orange Z is Jon taylor a personal friend from here in mobile. It is a very impressive ride indeed.
