Auto-X or something...

Q:

I have come to the conclusion that my car is becoming less and less fun to drive on the street. In order to feel like I am pushing it I would need to be going well over the legal limit. So I am wondering about options in the SF Bay Area for taking the car and really pushing it in a controlled environment, Auto-X, track days, etc. I used to not mind heading up into the mountains to get my speed fix, but with the setup I have right now it is not that fun unless I do something stupid...and I am past that part of my life where it seemed like a good idea. What are the options for going fast legally? I am more into Auto-X and road courses, not drag racing and I live in Santa Clara.
