Q:
Ok so I know it’s not my Z but I am having a problem with my 97 dodge ram 1500. There is water dripping on my floor board from some where under my glove box and when I turn a corner or hit the brakes I can here water swishing around (sounds like a bucket full). I figure its something to do with my A/C system but I don’t know what would cause that much water. It just started yesterday by the way. I looked online but I can’t find a fsm for it so I think I am going to have to buy one . If any of you guys have any insight for me before I go taking my dash apart tomorrow I would greatly appreciate it. thanks guys
p.s. my A/C is still working great.

no help at all really........ but if you could find out about that drain hose that could help.
A:
if it smells like antifreeze then your heater core might have a leak. If it is just plain water then you most likely have a kink in the drain hose for the evaporator for the a/c.
When driving around with the a/c on and then you park, you should see a spot of water under the truck. If you never saw one or noticed then it's has to be a kinked hose.

A:
look in 2 places
1- look at the pass. side floor for a rubber hose if it is disconected connect it back - this could be your problem if your carpet is all wet
2- the hose exits under your car go and un clog it
hope this helps

When you run your A/C is there water dripping from the bottom of the truck? If not the water your seeing is from the evaporator box, the drain for it is blocked.

call them dirt daubers in the south, and yeah, check that drain hose, but also at the dealer we have had the prob with air in the heater core that needed bleeding out and you'd hear a swashing sound in turns

Wife's truck would gurgle when you pulled away from a stop or went around a corner ('00 1500 4x4) and Dodge shop checked her coolant and said it was low, hence the gurgling/sloshing. But she had no leaking.
