Hello all. I just received my new 240z :D
The previous owner, Nigel, restored her to what she is now. The photos below are from when he owned her but I will take some photos and update my webpage in the coming weeks.

You bought a beautiful car and to be honest with you, I'm at the point where I'd rather buy one like that then to have to do the restoration process, expecially with parts getting so hard to find. You can drive that car two seconds after you bought it and don't have to wait three to four years for it to be completed.
I don't mean to be rude but I sure would be interested in knowing what a car in that condition set you back price wise? Thanks and good luck.

luke_mcmahon85 : no im still keeping the project, just downgrading it a little bit. It will still be bloody nice when its done but it will only be about $18000 total as apposed to $25000-30000.
JML77280Z : yeah thats y i bought it lol. i was looking at getting a loan to finish my project car but then i went hey i can by this beautiful car and rive it now haha.
Now here comes the killer: $23250 aussie dollars (about $17500 us). But its had more than that spent on it so for me to do it would cost alot more plus labour and time. And like i said, i can drive it now :)
I've had it 3 days and ive already had heaps of stares, comments and people yelling stuff out. I love these cars, i was just saying to my gf the other day its strange, everyone loves the look of these cars its a wonder why there aren't more of them around. And then I remember the cancer that is rust :(
