They are "side view" cameras that you see in the dash. Likely will not make it to production, but thats what they are. Not tiny mirrors.

Is it truly its own beast?
My own opinion is that the G35 coupe is more similar to a traditional Z that the current 350Z... again IMHO. I don't think they'd have to follow tradition, I just think their pulling ideas from their past. I do agree it also slightly resembles the R34 interior... I don't think outside of the car looks anything like any other Z... The outside of the car looks a lot like a lot of other manufactures models out on the market. It's weird how all manufactures are building similar models...
