First long run with my Z

Well today I finally got it all together and took my car out for about 150 mile road trip through twisting winding mountainous roads. I just drove the hell out of it to see if it would hold up. I was passin everything. First impressions..boy these cars like curves!..I can't wait to get some new shocks and get the "clunk" fixed and the bushings and everything in the rear end up to snuff. Are these cars usually so rough riding and have so much noise in the back?...maybe it is just mine...I know the shocks are in poor condition but it was still a blast! I got all my tools in the back too so that made it even noisier...lol

yeah they do tend to ride rough and be noisy.i'd go with some factory replacement bushings.don't go urethane unless you want to loosen some fillings.go with a nice set of shocks and springs.i like the tokicos but someone else who's had experience with different brands might advise otherwise.for a softer ride that is.when set up right these cars a pretty comfortable to drive around in.i mean the stock seats themselves are pretty nice inmo.don't ride around with tools that will definitely aid in the noise factor.;)

where I live, there are twisty mountain roads in every direction for hundreds of miles. I pick a direction, get the camcorder out, go for a run and video it and view it when I get back home.
Heres one of my adventures from back October 2005.
