That is a factory color used on early Z's.
You may never have seen it in unfaded condition.

Not exactly picking nits here, but it is not "fully restored." It is highly modified and nowhere near factory specs. But the term is thrown around very liberally in ads and posts, so I guess it doesn't matter anymore.

I think what the owner is trying to convey is that this is not a hacked together car. The body shell was one of the original Nissan restoration candidates that was never 'restored' but stripped and made ready for the restoration process.
A solid rust free 1971.
This one was truly from a bare shell to finished car, not a repaint of an old tired car with a lot of stuff tacked/hacked on.
An amazing ride.
