Seems like I have to deal with all of the abi-normal problems associated with these cars. But what the heck I got what I needed, and think if someone wants to do the work themselves, and spend the money for the part this is a perfect setup for just about any application someone can come up with. 200 Amps of current by 1800 RPM is not to bad, and the idle current available is excellent as well. I was going to install that external regulator but decided against it. If I was really motivated, I would build a temperature compensated external regulator myself, and with this dyno I think I can get it to maintain a .2 Volt tolerance between hot and cold operation. That way, I can run the system closer to 14.2 volts. That is better for just about all of the electronics in the car. This is good enough though. So if I can save someone some money getting what they need cool, glad to help out.
Now, back on to the tuning once again. I have made arrangements to have the tuning completed next week at JWT. I think Clark is going to be very surprised at the power the engine is going to produce.

I thought you were dumping the JWT stuff.

I want to push the Z31 box to its limit. The ECU will do 600 hp and it setup ready to go. I got to really run the car the day before the MSA show, and it was doing very well. I never got to finish up all of the tuning. Clark is a better tuner then I am no doubt so I will let him do his thing with the car and see where that gets me. Besides he has the good dyno to run the car on.
I really don't have to much to worry about the tuning at this point. I have the support I need to run the ECU now.
