I now have a ZX as my daily driver.I have a chance to buy a 72' 240z,no rust 60k miles,has been in a garage covered for 15 years.Its been taken out and driven a few times every year..$1500...why should I buy it?

oh man go for it it's worth so much money in the state that it's in.plus you have a very historical vehicle that is fun to drive.clean it up and it will look better in the garage then your zx.one other major plus is theres no smog required.if you live in a smog state that is.for that price i wouldn't even hesitate to get it.it runs too man you better jump on it!little voices in your head are saying "do it do it do it".

Buy it because it's a Z and not a ZX... That would be my main reason. I love Z's, I'm not that excited by ZX's. They are nice cars and all, but not as cool as a real Z.

$1,500 is a good price for a project car.
It will need a lot of work since it's a 34 year old used car.

Why would you not buy it if it's what you say? I'd give a lot more than that for it. You could make quite a bit off it, if it stays original and again is as clean as you say.
