Nice! I will be glad when I find a house with a nice garage or a place to put a nice garage.

Cool, You have the Man's Land bonus room above the garage.
You could have a lot of fun with that. Big screen TV., Wet Bar, Leather sofa's. Put some plumbing in for a bathroom, and you will look for reasons to be in the Dog-House...
If the house looks as good as the garage you've done well for your first home.

I am so excited. It is a full upstairs, has shelves along the sided on both sides, so my 5 parted out Z's will go up there... And I can finally put up my Bumble Zee Memorial up on the wall :) The upstairs in the garage also has a wood burner. One of the bonuses, I am less than a mile from Roger (Gizmo).
Sean- No it is in Grandville, so closer to you, sorta.
The backyard is 204ft deep, it will be nice for some parties :)

Man, makes me wish I could afford something like that but out here in the Bay Area CA you'd have to pay millions for something like that. I plan on selling my tiny 800 sqft condo for $430K, so you can imagine what a house like that would run. I'm jealous of your garage!

No, there is a temporary resident in it though, the owners bought it last March. He is in the Military and thought he was going to be stationed in Michigan for a while. Well he ended up gettting stationed in South Carolina. So now they had to sell. It was for sale for a couple months and no action.

Congrats.
I like the garage too. Nice style with plenty of room upstairs.
Of course it's none of my affair but I'd suggest a fixed rate mortgage. Never can tell what's down the road with interest rates and the rates aren't real bad now.
I can remember some farmers in the 1980's borrowing at 18%-21% for operating capital. Not that I think we're going that high but we could see 11%-13% easy enough.
Again congrats and good luck.
