Looks like she'll let us part out a car in the backyard (gasp!), and even an engine swap into my dad's 280z.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Based on the pictures you posted a few days ago, that would be a hard car to not like. Make sure you get a picture of her sitting in it and tell her how much better she makes the car look. Gets em every time.

That's what I did! She gets the Fairlady as it's the only automatic Z I have. She can't drive a standard which keeps her out of my other two Z's.

My agreement with my girl is that I can do whatever I want with my Z, whenever, as long as I build up an old 64 1/2 Mustang for her (don't ask me why she has a soft spot for THAT car, she's a Hot August Nights lover). Sounds like a fair deal to me.
1972 240z w/L28, tokico shocks and springs, and a 5 speed waiting. Also running high performance ultra mega blinker fluid, that's at least an extra 50hp to the wheels.

I would take her for a night out on the town. Dressed to the Nines. Out for a real great dinner about an hour or so away, then take her out dancin.
And of course you're gonna be takin the new Z. Let her drive.

Totally agree. I haven't gotten a compliment yet, but the closest thing I've gotten from the wife was this past weekend, I cleaned up the z and buffed out the oxidation to a good mirror shine. She came out and said, "At least it doesn't look like a total piece of sh*t now". Thanks honey, you really now how to show your support.
