What is with this Z disease?

General Chat

Q:

I scrapped an 82 ZXT body today? This thing was a donor for my project but it was still really sad watching it get hauled away.
This is the second time I have had to have one of my Z's hauled away. The first time, my son totaled my first project ZX. I restored that 280 ZX 2+2 all by myself. That was the Z that gave me the bug and started this whole thing 10 years ago.
What is my problem? Is there therapy for this? I must be really sick!
The first pic is the one that left today, the second, third and forth are of my first ZX.
My first ZX before restoration.
My first ZX after restoration.
When junior totalled it, I was sick.
My wife thinks I'm nuts. Yeh, Z-nuts.

once you've been bitten it's hard to come back to reality.remember budget and moderation.probably one of the most expensive addictions.considering each hit costs a couple of hundred here a couple of hundred there.good luck hope you have an understanding wife.
Z's are like woman maintenance,maintenance,maintenance!

Have your car break down on your at 11:00pm on a saturday night, when its freezing cold outside, forget your mobile, and be just short on money to get your car fixed on the spot (because you were only going to get some donuts). Also make sure your Girlfriend is with you and was already hesitating to come along for the trip, and make sure she cracks it with your car, and walks off on you.
This really helps eliminate some of that love for your Z car...

That is really sad about your first ZX being totalled by your son. I hope your sone wasnt too banged up in the crash.
The only cure is more Z's and more Z parts. Wait, is that the cure or the disease?

The best thing you can do is find another Z and restore it.
You know it's the right thing to do.
