I know the B210 is a little ugly opps Did I say that oh well, car... Buddy has one.
I know the 810 is the predisesor to the Maxima... The 710 pictures look like a slightly larger 210. What is this thing and what engines did it come with. I have someone looking for a L24 for there L18 equipped 710???? Yes I know what that means... Something just ain't right.

I believe the 710 was what replaced the 510 but I could be wrong. They came with L18's. So whats wrong with wanting an L24 to replace the L18? It'll fit but will be tight since the L24 is much longer. It might be better to put the VG30 from a 300zx in there instead. Another popular cheap swap is the KA motor from the 240sx. Since most 240sx owners yank the KA out for the SR20 there are plenty of KA's available.

Well he's looking for a 4 cylinder L24 that is a direct replacement for his L18... so yeah he might have an issue.

I can't believe some people spend $15 on shifter bushings in the B trans

Yeah I saw that... I guess with a 1.8L it has to be a 4 cylinder. I don't know of any other nissan motors of that size that aren't a 4 cyl.

If the twin axles from an 810 fit a 240Z OR 280Z. They LOOK identical and I have a set of these axles with 70k miles all lubed up and ready to roll! I know, BFD... Norm K

L24 4-banger = Z24 bottom end + l-series head. But then you have to have a Z-series trans or a L trans with a Z bell housing.
From what I read the 710 came out in 73 and was called a Violet, 140J, or 160J in other countries. It's a funky looking car. Seems to be unrelated to the 510, 610, 810s and 910s(they are all Bluebirds in Japan). speaking of which, I'd like to find a 2-door 610 or 810.
