AND SURELY their are more problems to come... I stuck it in gear and towed it slowly with my car down the street. At least 2 cylinders have obstructions!!! Rust rings are my guess. After an initial tug tug the motor span free and kept going with a good looking resistance from compression. I can't find the other half of my compression guage darn it!!

The unofficial page is down so I guess I have to spill. What you can see is the remains of a 72 240z and another 72 240z that is getting fitted with 2 of the donor panels. The roof is for my 71 240Z and the 1/4 next to the roof leaning on the fence is an extra panel for any future cars. Hopefully say this won't upset the mods, I've trying to stay good, but I keep saying the wrong things and they delete my posts. There is a free floor pan in there to under the rubble... and few other free panel peices... I'll have 280ZX panels soon to... from the donor car...
BTW donor car pics after I cleaned it up.... Yeah it's a WAY CLEANER CAR!! and I will be drving the donor car home about 40 miles... I must be insane!
Personally I would have built the donor car...
Donor car is a federal car... See cut exhaust. The missing peice is in the passenger seat... no cat just a single 2 bolt flange that connects the front and rear exhaust sections. Not sure why they cut it...

Whole bottom of the windsheild is rusted out on this one Frank. But I know Frank. I would have built it too. I can only have so many Datsuns before someone starts complaining about the junk yard I've got going.
I've seen worse and i could probably fix it. But I'm not paying for the car. It was only $100 too... It was out there with those 6 roadsters and the rusty blue in my other post.
The owners are going to have me mount those wheels to there car...

If someone has a good donor roof they can have a non-rolling, stripped ZX body... :) Otherwise I was going to 1/4 it up and sell/donate the panels to other needy ZX's.
Oh OK Frank yeah we can get you those plates... Maybe we can get them to Tony and next time your here save the shipping and toss it in with the other stuff your bound to haul home.
