Hi folks,
Been out of town for a week so I hope this hasn't been discusses. Sears has a powdercoating system for $129. Anybody ever use this? I assume it requires you to have an oven to bake the parts with. Seems like it would be good for small parts. If you have one of these please get back to me. I'd like to hear if they are any good.

You can get the same thing cheaper at Harbor Freight. You do need an oven to bake the parts and DO NOT USE YOUR KITCHEN OVEN!!!! I've seen good results with the smaller systems if you use good powder. I think the HF one is like $79 or $89.

I held on to a great working old oven for a long time but for space reasons finally put it to the road. Yep you need an oven or an infared heating lamp like eastwood carries.
Ovens are good too for those ceramic coatings that are good for internals and manifolds etc....

Summit also makes one.
It is more of a small personal one that does not require an air compressor. I thought it was neat.

Looks like the Sears one and the Summit one are the same.
