Mostly stock/original 1983 280ZX turbo 2+2
I am contemplating giving up a roadster parts car in favor of a 82 280ZX GL model. It has a ok body and decsent paint. It has a bit of rust forming under the windsheild in the "typical" spot.
I've been trying, unsuccessfully, to sell my ZXT. I think the next step is to just transfer the turbo drivetrain over and keep it. The body of the ZX isn't rusted out... yet, but the kid is getting older and I have a real 4 door now.
The only reason I ask is I could go either way and be happy. What you guys think might be able to sway me in one direction?
The 2+2
I don't have pics of the other car yet... Its the two tone Blue/Grey with Blue interior and no auto climate system. I would probably need to redo some of the interior on the Blue/Grey 82.

ZX 2+2s are ugly. I've got a turbo 1 as a parts car. Can't wait until I can strip it & get rid of it. It's got some rust but after I get what will transfer to the 78, it'll be available to those that don't think it's ugly.
Anyone can drive a new car.

Many a S130 with L28ET's are becoming donors. I say that if you have one that is not rusted out, it should remain whole. Even if is the less desirable 2+2, it's good history.

How much for the 2+2 turbo?.
Are you in Nevada or Arizona?. Maybe Cali?. The grass is kinda brown to be anyplace else.

What do you supose I could ask for the 2+2 if I converted it a to a running smog-able NA model? Think it would be worth 500-700?
