Visit www.jagsthatrun.com . Even though I did my v8 swap before they offered mounts for the s130, I'm sure they have almost everything you need to do the swap, and the best part it, it's all bolt in (although may require slight modification). You don't have to make the mounts yourself, which will save you hours upon hours of trouble. If I were you, I would just go with the L28et.

Translation: this question has been asked 80 bazillion times. You can get all the info you need at www.hybridz.org, as that is the main site for swaps of all kinds into Z cars. You can't use the same trans or bellhousing. And a company called JTR — Jags That Run — sells books and kits for the SBC-into-Z swap (www.jagsthatrun.com). Motorsport Auto (www.zcarparts.com) also sells all the bits and pieces necessary to complete this swap. Lots of people have done it, there's lots of info out there and it's hard to get more bang for your buck power-wise. You might also peruse "350 swap" or other key phrases in the archives ("Search" link above) for tons and tons of information, useful and otherwise.
