okay, i bought the sway bar bushings, and im wondering how much of a difference it will make to use the bushings that mount the mid section of the bar to the car (not the bushings on the rod that meets the a-arm).
all it does is hold the bar up to the body right? or does it make a drastic difference, like the sides do??

Why wouldnt you install these?
Did your rusty bolts snap off inside the backing plate? Just a guess - this is what happened to my splash pan when i removed it...
I just installed the master bushings set, but do not know hown much a difference it would make by only installing the end link bushings.

DOH! i was in a hurry... heh.
you did help 280Zhab, i was just worried about some rust around the fronts (i meant a-arm/ front control arm..w/e it is...lol).
so ill just give it a go, and get em all in there!
tomorrow will be fun... doing the urethane bushings, getting the tires balanced, and maybe cleaned up and painted gunmetal...!
i wanted to make some custom strut tower bars, just for the sake of custom fabrication... to kill some time, and hopefully make the car handle better!
i know some of you guys have done it yourselves, so throw up some pics plz! (im also gonna check hybrid too...).
i have all this time to kill, and a low budget... and a welder... so let the fun begin!

If you want consistent predictable results it would be good to replace all the bushings with the same material.
A:
Wrap the bar with a couple of rounds of teflon tape at the frame Bushings. This will help keep the noise down.
