Q:
I was wondering if anyone had any information or thoughts on this brand of turbo. I know its a German based company and automakers like Porshe, and Audi use them in production vehicles. I've seen them used in a few big hp applications as well. Thank you for any info.

Borg-Warner 3K (as they like to be called nowadays) make some really good turbos. My 84 BMW 745 (3.5litre) comes stock with a K27 to make about 230hp at 7psi (stock wastegate limit)
The good thing about the turbo is that its still good for ~400hp @ 15psi, still stock internals and I haven't gone any further than that.

and the Group B rally cars used KKK turbos..
