Carbon Fiber door sills

Interior Exterior

Q:
I make light parts for the Evo community and thought I would have a go at the Elise.. Vaccum bagged carbon with a foam core for light weight and clear coated for a high shine. These are the same as the sills in the installed in the A-Spec Elise. I have 4 sets ready to ship. Good price to get the word out. on these first 4 sets.
$980.00 + shipping if you live in Socal and want to drive to my shop in the High Desert I will install them for you for $50.00 too.
Drop me an e-mail evo4fun@gmail.com

Those are very nice. Any info on the handbrake handle, cf also? Do you make them?
A:
nice sig, so the stock elise is not entertainign enough compared to an evo huh
A:
nice! love the handbrake, too.
A:
Too shiny for me, too blingy.
A:
pretty pricey IMO.. can you make diffusers?

Evo just placed 2nd TT "Race" class at NASA Nationals to a Shannon "A" sports racer at Mid-Ohio (he beat me by 0.15 in a 1:35 lap....
Evo does 1:22 @ "Streets" 1:24 at the "Big" track WSIR 1:55 @ T-hill....1:46 Cal Speedway AMLS course....you get the idea...(no it's not stock...) Suspension tuning is what I do....and Aero parts are a sideline....like to have a "hooked up ride" lol....dont want em blingie? 20min with 400 Wet dry and a bucket of water and you have the "dry" look.....Just testing the water with these parts if they work will start making more.....

couple hundred less than shop indy's I can only imagine what Reverie would charge for a set.
robi, what about the handbrake?
A:
No handbrake yet sorry.

Bump...zero interest?

I agree with the others that they look great -- but I think I'd just end up covering them up with scratch/scuff guards. I probably wouldn't go for it unless I were doing a more complete racing/CF theme in the cabin.
A:
They look good, but the sills are a high wear area. $1000 is a lot to pay for something that will easily get all scratched up.
A:
don't have my car yet, otherwise I'd buy a set.

Looks a lot like an Evo handbrake.

A:
The main reason to go through the extra step of the automotive polyurethane clearcoat was to increase the durability and scratch resistance.

$1000!?!?!?!
