Torque Settings for Seat Rail Bolts

Interior Exterior

Q:
I'm looking for torque settings for all the seat rail bolts, driver-side. I can't seem to find them in the Elise shop manual.
Thanks.
A:
Careful! Not too tight. Besides, you'll know real quick if they come loose.

I know some have had problems with loose seats upon delivery so I had them check the drivers seat when I picked mine up to make sure it was tight. Got about 300 miles away from the dealer and noticed the passenger seat was loose. Tried to tighten it and the bolts are already really tight. I'm afraid they are cross-threaded.
Gonna have it fixed at my 1K service. They might have to drill them out and re-thread with a bigger bolt.

Yeah, it didn't take much to take those bolts off. I used a Snap-On digital torque wrench to undo the bolts (I understand it's not a good way of measurement) and it took like less than 10 ft-lbs to loosen one; same thing with the bolts holding the seat.
