Q:
is Sector111 the only place that sells them? (black and yellow)
A:
that is where I saw the yellow and black badges at.

I have heard you can order the yellow one from your dealer. I got mine from Sector111 the same time I ordered my Arqray SS Twin Muffler exhaust.

We are one of the few people in this country to sell the black badge. We get them from England. I tried to get them through Lotus here with no luck, even though they are a Lotus part. We have very low stock right now, and I'm not sure when we will be getting another batch.

What's everyone's opinion on removing the "L.O.T.U.S" stickers on the back on the Elise and replacing it with this Badge instead?
I think it looks great -- a very clean look.
A:
wow, that is very nice.
A:
my car never had the letters, had the badge installed before I picked it up,looks great IMO
A:
Does anyone have a pic of how the badge would look on the rear of a CO?
A:
Who sells the black LOTUS and Elise letters?
Bruce
A:
well I'll be the first to say I don't like the Lotus badge on the back. I like the simple LOTUS letters, although I can see them peeling after a couple of years. I like Stig's black letters.
the lotus badge looks like a hood ornament stuck onto the ass of the car.
A:
I was thinking a set of brushed aluminum letters might be what I'm looking for. I know others have done it it SS. Any AL letters out there?

do you have both the rear and front black badges in stock?
A:
I wonder if the black one would look good on CO. What do you guys and gals think? Any hack pshop photos out there? ( I cant find any)
A:
Hey The Stig, how did you paint the gas cap lid? I'm guessing just remove/spray paint...but what kind of paint did you use? From the looks of it, it seems to have some kind of clearcoat? Maybe it's just my imagination...in any case, looks good!

I actually got it powder coated at the same time I did the wheels. The color is satin black. My tip, make sure you use a good powder coater. And make sure you clog the excess fuel drain before removing allen bolts.

There is no black rear badge. However, if enough people (besides me) are clamoring for a black rear badge it might induce someone to create one. And Lillie, please order me one if and when you can find someone willing to produce them (licensed by Lotus of course ).

I'm thinking black would look good if you went the whole route.....wheels, gas cap, etc....
A:
OK Stig, I took your advice and powdercoated my gas fill door. Looks great, thanks for the idea!
