Q:
KMS,
Where can I get a set of Ti wheel bolts?!! Shinoo!!!
A:
I will test my Ti bolts and let you know if we will market them. Here is a photo of the CF front panels.
A:
Wesley,
Have you seen any Ti springs? I would be seriously interested in those. I only have 2 weaknesses: CF and Ti.
A:
Yes, I do know of one company who makes a set for the Elise. But they are for Racing use only and the Company won't recommend them or Guarantee them for Street applications and use.
A:
Thanks. Which comany? Do they have a website? Are springs sprung weight?
A:
I will contact you after the holidays. My friend from Motons got me this info regarding the Ti springs. I will ask my friend what is the name of this company and how we can get a set of them.
A:
KMS,
I was surprised at the weight of the stock front panels...

I'm trying to find out how many people would be interest in a box such as this to hold the battery very tightly, ensuring you pass tech at an autocross, for instance.

Where does one get more info on the BSK seats?
Where does one buy them?

Ask Shinoo (sector111). They are available in CF or Kevlar. I have a set of Kevlar seats and I love them. Shinoo drove my car with the BSKs, ask him how he liked them.

Wesley,
How do the BSK seats compare to the Reveries? I am looking for a seat to hold me as snugly as possible for the track. Do you have pictures of them you could post?
-Steve
A:
Here is a pic of the BSK Kevlar seat. The only question is how big is your hip area? I am 5'6" and 30" waist and fit in them very snug and comfortable. There are some adjustments(an inch or two) that can be done by removing some forms. I can not recommend them for a person with a larger hip region. The Reverie will be much better for those who are wide through the hip area.
A:
These look and sit very nice, especially if you get them in the two tone edition

I'm 6'2, 175lbs, with a 34" waist. I'm tall and skinny.
Have you sat in Porsche GT3 seats? How would you compare them?
I am all over the place in the stock seats on the track. After 20-30 laps i'm exhausted from trying to hold myself upright. The Reverie looks like it is shaped exactly like the stock seat. I am worried that it will still not have the lateral support that i want. The BSK looks much better in that respect.

Looks like you guys are using 4-point harnesses with these seats? I've always been told to go with 5 or 6-point belts for track use to prevent submarining. This this true? Or are you guys okay with the less safe 4-point? How does one decide which way to go?
A:
I have a 5 point harness. But I only use it(5th) on the track. I do feel safer with the 5 point harness than 4. My photo shows only 4 because it is usually hidden since I only use 4 point for my everyday driving.
Offroadr35, If You want to come visit my area, you are welcome to stop by and try them both. (Or when I come down to join you guys on some driving events.) I have a Reverie seat installed on the passenger side and a BSK seat on the Driver side.
A:
thanks for the clarification on the 5-point harness.
What is the weight of the BSK seat? it looks like it has quite a bit of padding and leather so I'm assuming they are not nearly as light as the ReVerie???
A:
The BSK seats weigh about 12lbs. 3lbs or so lighter than the OEM seats with a lot more hold and padding. I know the Reveries are lighter but lacks lateral hold. I am thinking about taking it to a upholstery shop and see if they can put some padding around it.
A:
Wesley, do you know where i could find the dimensions of the BSK seat? I wonder if any other seat manufacturers make a seat that could fit. I'd love to use the Kirkey Road Racing seat that i had in my Cobra.

A:
I think seat manufacturers sell different sizes? IIRC the seats I posted a picture of are available in three sizes.
