Hey Barney, those seats look really nice, however they look like they are really arched (the wrong way), kind of like the Hunchback of Norte Dame if you get my drift.
Normally the human back arches into the body in the lower lumbar region. All the seats I have seen for the Elise are either flat or arch the wrong way.
With regular car seats the middle to lower portion of the seatback rounds out a little and then goes back in when it meets the seat bottom.
I wish Lotus would make an ergonomically correct seat with more lower, lumbar support.
Take a look at the pic of the seats I posted. Do they not look very flat??? I know about the lumbar pump but when I tried it I found it pumped up an area in the middle of the seat and not the lower back.
Cheers

Hmmm, well I've sat in them and had no problem at all. In fact, I think they consulted a physiotherapist whilst designing these seats and I know that they can be individually adapted for a specific person.
The seats look even nicer in two tone btw, and despite the full leather cover they are still as light as a Reverie seat IIRC.
edit: looking at the picture it seems the picture is deforming it a bit. The back is indeed flatter in real life AFAIK.

Wesley, do you know where i could find the dimensions of the BSK seat? I wonder if any other seat manufacturers make a seat that could fit. I'd love to use the Kirkey Road Racing seat that i had in my Cobra.

I'll be talking with the BSK people this weekend. If they can give me some dimensions of their seat I will let you know next week. I also know of another manufacture that builds very light (10lbs)weight Carbon fiber seats with a very nice covering that will work with larger people but they are very expensive.

Can't seem to locate anything on BSK seats on the net... can someone point me at their web site?
Thanks!
