Interior Exterior
Q:
Do you?
A:
I would say so, since a few 3rd parties are selling them and guys are putting them on their Elises.
I'm still on the fence.
A:
I like them.
A:
I didn't have a problem with it until I thought about washing and waxing around the lettering. The flush decals make cleaning up so much easier.
A:
i'm not too into it... but who cares... do whatever you want to it...
A:
I am only going by the photos that I have seen. I will say, yes I like the raised letters however, I also liked the decal letters.

So some malicous person can steal my letters? I think not. I don't want to be driving a LOT, OTUS, or L T S.
A:
I like the decal best, unfortunately they peel off over time. Even with careful washing, one of these days they will need to be replaced. The raised letters look good, but have the issue with washing, drying and waxing around them.
Many people are replacing with the Lotus "Badge" - same as on the front end.
It wold be nice to know where to buy a supply of the decals so they can be replaced every couple of years if necessary.
A:
No, sir - not my cup of tea.
Probably better than silver stickers on a silver car but still too small for the guy in the F-150 behind me to read from far enough back to safely stop.
A:
I would remove them anyway as I did with the stick on ones on my 2005.
I really don't care if anyone other than you guys know what I am driving.
I sort of liked the enormous black "LOTUS" lettering that was on the back of the Esthi. It was stick on in matte black, sort of looked cool.

I also like the decal best - and they are readily available from Lotus for a very small amount (in the UK anyway)
A:
Quite dislike the raised letters.
A:
I agree...cheesy. Not as cheesy as the decals, though. (Hint: Kendall's a rear badge kinda guy )
A:
I dont like any of the letters, why cant they jsut give us some decals, and the badge. Put it on our selves.
A:
hate it looks lame.
A:
I like the raised letters - they don't look as cheap as the decals. I also like the giant black letters on the Esthi. The black on yellow looked good but my car is red so I don't know that the black letters would look as good.
A:
They don't look quite as ugly if you put them on an ugly car.
A:
Nope, no raised letters for me. As others have said a real pain to clean around.
Decal looks OK, so does the Lotus badge some have put in it's place.
A:
I don't like them. I think they look cheap, like the plastic touches. Someone at Lotus who decides the accesorries has bad taste.

I'm betting it was the bloke who came up with the cupholder thong. ET members: Be careful what you ask for or complain about.
