Does anyone actually like the raised LOTUS letters on the back of '07s?

Q:
If I had a smiley face puking I'd post it...
A:
Badge all the way!
A:
Just UGLYYYY.
A:
Yeah, they look ok to me. I'm tring to keep my decals intact though...
A:
The decals are at least discrete. The raised letters are like "HEY, I KNOW YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM. I'M A LOTUS!!"
A:
Those raised letters look like they belong on an Escalade. With those wheels that spin around when you stop.
A:
I didn't have a problem with it until I thought about washing and waxing around the lettering. The flush decals make cleaning up so much easier. I washed my car tonight and was thinking exactly the same thing.
A:
Of course, if the Elise/Exige came with raised letters from the beginning, we'd all be complaining about how cheap the rumored 2007 decals look.
A:
If you think the raised letters look odd, check out one of the older fonts on an original Europa.
A:
Happy as hell I replaced my decals with the raised aluminum painted semi-black on my Storm T! In the grand scheme of things-what the hell difference does it really make
A:
We'll be seeing them on some teenager's honda soon.
A:
aren't the raised ones heavier???
A:
Nothing on my rear, not even "elise".
Let em guess what it is...
A:
aren't the raised ones heavier???
Yeah, it sure puts a damper on that 0-60 time
A:
I really don't care if anyone other than you guys know what I am driving.
I sort of liked the enormous black "LOTUS" lettering that was on the back of the Esthi. It was stick on in matte black, sort of looked cool.
Those letter were actually cut out of the back of the clam to provide additional cooling openings...
Bye, Arno.
A:
How much do they weigh?
A:
I'd like a set of black stickers.. But no raised..
A:
Those big black letters on the Esthi are VERY light
A:
I think the badge looks best, as shown on cars delivered to Australian market.
A:
The decals are fine. I think I prefer the look of the raised letters, but on other cars they are a real pain to wax around.
So, +1 for the decals.
If it were completely badgeless, the Elise would look like a kit car.
