Repair or not, suggestions

Interior Exterior

Q:
I picked up a road chip just a couple inches from the bottom on the front clam. It went through the SS and all layers of paint to leave a bit of a chip. I had a guy come by to make the repair today and then have new SS on the front applied. However with the 3 stage CO paint it will alway's be a blend. Most likely it blends well but, not meaning to sweat the small stuff, painting the entire corner will be necessary for the blend. I decided to hold off and give it more thought. The reason being if the blend is not just right then it could ultimatley look worse then the chip very low on the car. I did fill in the chip with touch up but, it is kind of deep so you can see the difference. The CO is beautiful but, definitely more work to match then a two stage paint.
Has anyone had experience matching up the CO paint? I am thinking of not messing with it at this point.

I've gotten a lot of recommendations for Langka to improve your touchup. www.langka.com It levels the touchup with your surrounding paint.

Have you used this on your Elise? I sent a message to the company asking if it will work on fiberglass. The product looks like a good solution.
