Q:
Hey, what do you guys think of painting those to match?
z00ms (or other), can you photoshop this on a ST car?
I've never really noticed it until recently, I don't like the black plastic any longer...

I think it might look good on a car with a hardtop, but otherwise will look a bit odd. Right now, the three windows form a nice dark band and that element works very well; breaking it up with a band of color might not be a good idea.

Agreed^. Early JDM S2000's have body color A-pillars. Don't look as good, IMHO. The A-pillar on the Elise is pretty thick, might look obnoxious if painted body color. (Except on black car, of course).

Hijack: All the S2000s have body color A-pillars. US models then have a fat stripe of black tape covering it all up.

For another approach to getting rid of the black, look at pictures of the VX-220. They have silver colored plastic trim around the windshield.

Here's a shot of the a-pillars painted, and an idea I had for an alternative paint scheme.
