Q:
The TMR Elise at the Import show. What is your opinion about the front spoiler/splitter? I am thinking about bringing it to the USA.
A:
I like it. You should get the door hinges as well. I have one heck of a time getting in and out of my car once I pull it into my garage. The doors open too wide. It's a tight fit.
I would be very interested in both. Do have any pricing yet?
A:
The front splitter seems to be dangerous for pedestrians. ( Bone splitter) Would it be street legal in the USA ?

My front spoiler / splitter I have on my car is just as bad as this one or may be worse.
A:
what is different about the TMR Elise? other than the doors and front splitter (which looks far too big?)

I wasn't thinking about the doors. But I sent them an email asking about them for you (I can speak and write Japanese). I will let you know when I hear back from them. I found a few more shots that shows their Lambo doors.
A:
It appears too "tacked on." The extra cut line is out of place with the curves. I don't like it (and I generally like the splitters I've seen . . . ).

I can see your point. But from what I can gather from their site, they are trying to redirect the air flow around the tires so that air will no longer hit the front tires which will result in a better aerodynamics = better performance.
A:
Such front splitters have to be rather long to use the high pressure bubble building up in front of the vehicle at higher velocity to generate front down force. But they should be allowed only fore race track use.
Imagine you, your kid or your beloved dog / cat is hit by these cutting edges!
IMHO they are nearly as stupid as bull bars used on some “SUV” s.
From the aerodynamic point of view there are other and better solutions because this type of splitter also increases the drag factor relatively much.
A:
KMS,
The splitter is ok, but please bring over the wheels and doors!!!

I really like the doors. I would seriously consider them.
A:
DOORS
A:
I like the front splitter, looks similar to the special race elise, and makes the front of the car look more exotic, more high end. I think one of the things that makes the elise look unusual is the small frontal area and the tires sticking out past the front. I was at sebring and two motossport elise where they looked geat with front spoilers.
A:
I like the spoiler and the wheels, but the splitter is a bit much for me on a street/auto-x car.
A:
Splitter is fine but I like your other splitters better. Actually, I love my new Reverie splitter
A:
I love options, so bring it all. Personally, I don't like the splitter. I like the doors, but I'm trying to envision them working with the hard top in place. Probably a no go. I doubt I'd buy the door kit because I have better ways to spend the money, like a huge shock upgrade. But the look is awesome, very exotic.

I pull the driver side as close to the wall as possible, then hop into the passanger seat to get in and out - quick and easy! no prob. withthe top on either - but i am kinda scrappy!!
A:
i really like the doors(maybe its just because of the color), it looks very suiting, even though it has no purpose and might weigh more. i would get that asap. spliter looks a bit too bulky
i just realized that it works with the softop, so the hardtop should be ok(maybe add 1/2" screw-type piece that pushes the door out a bit)
why dont our cars have a center console like that?
A:
If you like that type of front splitter you should buy this car:

As far as I know it not yet street legal but who cares ?

I don't like the splitter but I do like the doors. They don't look like those cheap immature doors that barely clear the roof line. But I'd like to know how well they seal w/ hard and soft top and if how much extra weight (if any) would they add.
