Q:
I was at that show and the splitter looks pretty tough. I didn't ask about instalation. Those doors were only 3 days old at that show so they didn;t have many details. That prototype car has bodywork done on the front clam and doors do the doors can swing freely.
A:
Aside from the bling factor why would anyone buy the splitter without the rear spoiler?
I think that alone it would severely upset the balance of the car over 80mph.
I have all that already.
A:
I'd also seriously consider the doors if they were a reasonable price (under 2000). Even though 3-4K is sometimes charged for a good lambo door job, I still think it's too expensive. i think the splitter is really cool and like it more than the Reverie one.

I'm having trouble summoning the words. Maybe if I started with; "It looks like turds." and moved on steadly from there?

Haha. It's funny how divided everyone's opinions are on aggressively styled, aftermarket products such as these....Or agressively styled turds, as some would see them.
A:
This is the same thing I said in the ForceFed wing opinion thread.....
I would not add a splitter and/or wing 'for looks'.....but if someone comes up with numbers, REAL numbers showing their effectiveness, THEN I would be very interested......But I need more proof than a driver saying 'it feels more stable'.....

I know you do!
Sometimes I wonder what you don't have.
Trace - They really do work on this car. Just read the track reviews of the S1 and the Exige.

Any news on the doors? Their great and id be very interested. Ima bit confused after reading through the thread. The ones on the first post are not Gt factory am i right? Whats the exact place doing these? And is it possible to get the doors seperatly for local fitting? How different are they to the Gt Factory doors?

1. They are very different then the current universal GT Hinges
2. The doors in the pic are still under revision
3. They are not selling doors but rather a vertical door kit (a rather complicated kit that involve.. DOOR HINGE KIT, CARBON DOOR INNER PANEL, ALUMINUM DOOR BEAM.
1. The GT company has hinted at making a light weight version of their kit if they can obtain a car for fitting in the CA area. I like their kit best as it seams to be the most straight install and fit using all stock parts of the door.
A:
Doh yes sorry wored that wrong, knew it wasnt a door they sent, silly me So how do the gt ones look in person, do they also go straight up like these ones? Sounds good that its not complicated to install as im from europe and not sure id be willing to give it to any local dealer to fit

TMR sent me an email. They said that their up-dated version will be available in 2 weeks. We are getting a deal together (buy few doors so that shipping cost will be cheaper). If you are interested please let me know. The pricing will be available very soon.

I'm all over the doors. My garage is too small to be able to get in and out easily and I'm tired of almost dinging the 2nd car...
I'm down for a set for sure.
A:
KMS, PLEASE post pricing as soon as you get it. I'm hoping it'll be reasonable.

Yes, I will. They informed me that now they have a better door hinge design that will be lighter and stronger. If I don't hear back from them by this Monday I will give them a call. I will be in Japan from the 4th and I am planning on visiting their shop during my short stay there.

I just got an exciting email as well from TMR in Japan about the vertical doors project. They are for some reason imho incorrectly calling them "Gullwing Doors" but thats just symantics anyhow. I rather have that then for them to be referred to lambo doors since Lamborghini did not invent nor do they have a monopoly on vertical type doors.
Quicktime 14.1mb MP4
Anyhow, The video I linked to demonstates the operation of the doors, which is pretty cool. It really shows how tight of a spot you can get in and out when parked next to a car or wall or anything. The door opens just enough for it to go vertical and should prove to be very usefull in getting in and out of tight spots.
Please keep in mind, the new kit will not require the door to be cut in anyway as shown in the video. The video I linked to is not the newer kit. It is the older prototype kit. They are showing it just so you can get an idea of how they operate. The new kit will be available in about 2 weeks according to the email they just sent me. They did not include a price to the US but I will ask them.
A:
i dont know if its these doors, or some other. but i remember reading somewhere a vert-door that also opened up normaly.id imagine the hinge would weigh more, but that would be prefered; so you dont have to be flashy if its not needed

What kind of wheels are those? I like them..................alot
