Soft top sticker removal?

Interior Exterior

Q:
Any one removed that nasty sticker on the passenger side that tells me the top may leak? The first time I pulled the soft top out of the bag I noticed that the sticker is all bubbly. I'd like to just rip it off but know that the residue removal will be hard with out messing up the plastic. Most all of the removers I currently have will harm the plastic.
any suggestions

Regular old Rubbing alcohol and towel should take care of it without hurting the plastic. If that doesn't work, try a citrus oil based cleaner, like Orange-solve or something like that. Many people swear by WD-40 but I despise the stuff myself.

I just removed my sticker yesterday and used goo-off. Seemed to work OK. Used a damp rag after to take off all residue.

Don't do it! Sky was riding biatch in my car and decided I didn't need that warning sticker. Seconds later the annoying sticker is gone with sticky residue in its place. I never have good luck removing the sticky stuff off like that which was why I didn't wasnt to do it.
BTW, my soft top was replaced under warranty and the new fugly sticker is clear and blends in much better.

Simply pulled the sticker off and (with fingers crossed) used 3M adhesive remover to get rid of the remaining glue. No problems or discoloration of the plastic or fabric to date.

Thanx for all the replies, I think I'll try a little of the goo gone, citrus based stuff. I've got my favorite, goof off, but it is a pretty mean solvent, chews through paint and what not sometimes. Never heard of goo off. I might look for the 3m adhesive remover. I'll be carefull and test on a hidden are first but just wanted to hear how some of you had done it already.
