Q:
on Sector111's 4Tress bar? There is just about an inch of clearance between the bar and the interior light/rear plastic panel. How much room do I need? Will an inch suffice? Thanks.

Pete (sleepless) has it on the other bar that sector111 sells.

I don't have the rear panel in mine so I can't help much. Also, the car is in the shop so I can't take any measurements for you.
An inch should be enough if it is in the horizontal direction. Vertically, it depends on the lenght of bolts you use. The ones that come with the mount may be too long but you can get shorter bolts at any hardware store (they are just carriage bolts).
Here is a pic if it helps; look carefully and you'll see how much space the mount requires:
