Any chance this might be available in a satin finish instead of gloss?

That's what I was thinking.

We do not carry any type of protection film that is satin at this time. I will look into it and see if we can come up with a film that is thick enough to protect and have a satin finish

$129.95! Is this gold plated? I was born at night but...
A:
Yep, satin here as well, and $80 would probably be my price point.
A:
I agree about the glossy look. Reminds me of grandma's sofa covered with plastic.

Sorry, I can get the same thing in satin for 1/2 the price. It's been on my car for 11 months. I won't mention the name here. No sabotage intended but a lot of the elise enthusiasts on here have done a lot for me (and my car addiction) so I feel obligated to point out price gouging.

Before I "invest" in any sill protection, I'd like someone to find out what a brand spankin new set of door sills costs. I'm guessing it's less than these covers.
A:
I do like how these cover the entire surface, I had seen someone's solution earlier (can't remember where) that was just a partial cover of the top, like a rectangle applied. Didn't look as good. I agree though that a matte finish would probably look better (though I wonder if it'd just scuff easier?). If nothing else, you could probably find a matte laminate to use as a top layer over that gloss and offer both options to people.

Different materials have different costs. You can't compare satin to this stuff.
You make accusations without knowing what the costs are. If you are happy with your protectors more power to you but it's something totaly different. This is the same stuff that is used for the headlight protection and the kit for the Lotus runs for $50 or more on any web site you go to.
I'm sure you know the price of the headlight kits yourself since you know Chris.
Do you have the headlight kit installed on your car?
A:
If any one near Los Angeles is interested in this product you can come to our shop and we will do the intallation for free.
I have installed these on four cars so far. Every one liked it and they where satisfied with the final product. I will take some more better pics and post them up soon.

From one of the other threads new sills are 104 per side....

Yikes..
That's about some ugly crap. Way too shiny..
