Yellow with Red

Interior Exterior

Q:
I was wondering if anyone ordered a SY with anything but black leather. I have tried to search for some photos but couldn't find anything.
Thanks in advance
Adrian

I think it would come off a little too "Ronald Mcdonald" IMO.

Oh, I like that yellow with Blue. I have orange with Blue. I was taking a risk with that one, but since it's a darker blue it came out awesome (to me anyway, and that's what counts, right) Feedback is positive.
Red with the yellow. I'm not feeling that so much so. But- hey, I'm nobody. If it makes you happy- go for it. That one ubercool thing is being able to order your car however you want it. Nice to see some different combos making it to the street.

The only downside to yellow/red is the somewhat remote connection with McDonald's, and thinking of that every time you see it. If you can put that out of your mind, it really is a nice combination that works well.

Thanks Guys...

Pretty much if you put any two colors together, some jackwad is going to make a "connection" with something else. Usually a sports team. I hear how "I must be an auburn fan" quite a bit, and I'm sure the guy with the yellow blue gets "clever" U of M comments all the time. F them all. hahaha. Other members have the "redskins car" or the "raiders car" or whatever. McDonalds doesn't own the colors red and yellow, and it's not the right type of red anyway. If you like it, get it.

Saffron Yellow and blue leather are off the list for the 2006 models, so order up quick if you still can get a 2005.
For 2006 you can get a metallic yellow called Solar Yellow. Magnolia (cream) leather will replace blue leather.

that yellow with red touring car pictured is mine!
I love my Ronald McDonald/ketchup & mustard car.
It's much more unique than yellow/black and gives the car extra "flavor."
I now have a painted (yellow) center console and it is a HUGE improvement over the stock silver paint imho.
So I have absolutely no regrets over this color combo. If you have any doubts and you typically lean towards a more conservative direction then get the yellow/black.
(plus then I could still think I was "one of a kind.")

The Elise is not a conservative car so why go conservative with the color choice? That was one of the things running through my head when I picked the yellow/blue. The other thing was, "Wow, I'm really going to get my Elise!"
