Q:
I think that's where my fan speed knob went. I need to pop the passenger seat out for the harness installation anyway. I wonder what other goodies I'll find under that seat??
A:
Sunglasses in case in cubby above lighter socket, except when a have a can of Diet Mountain Dew there on the way to work. Registration in cargo net. Cupholder, which fits aforementioned opened can perfectly, is the left rear corner next to the drivers' seat.
A:
sunglass case which fits perfectly in the small shelf between the steerong column and the light switches.
My case slides nicely into the space on the other side, between the steering column and the A/C controls.

some months back, I purchased a mirrored, chrome like
'flip up' eyeglass case on e-bay.co.uk that had a nicely
raised enamel Lotus logo centered on it. I centered it on
my dash, being held securely there by a rubber-ish pad
I purchased from J & R Music World that stays wherever
you lay it down......using no stick-um of any kind. The
pad can be washed with soap and water if the self-sticking
properties begin to fade but it's been 7 months and it's
still functioning properly. Not even the sharpest turns have
been able to dislodge it.

I used to use that space for the faceplate case until I realized I don't care enough about the stereo to ever take the faceplate with me.

The face plate fits, out of site, under the front lip of the driver's seat, as long as you don't put it in the case.
A:
well if the top is on. mine are wrapped around the support of the roof. just fold the arms around them. i will take a pic sometime for those of you that dont understand.

Not to further the hijacking of this thread, buy how many of you remove the face plate? I don't frequent high crime areas, so have never felt the need to.
A:
I don't ever remove the faceplate, although it would piss me off if someone broke in to steal such a cheap stereo. I've considered doing the perryeyges modification to make the stereo theft proof and also provide a solution to the sunglass storage issue:
