Q:
i noticed on some pictures of RONIN's car, he had some side skirts with those exige vented frontal fender pieces. anyone have any idea what side skirts those are? and if they will work for elise? thanks in advanced!~!!!
A:
Ronin has a "prototype Sector111" CF side skirt that will only work for the Exige. It will not fit directly onto the Elise w/o some serious modifications to the sideskirt and/or front fender. The reason why I know this is because I was at Sector111 to pickup my CF rear spoiler and I had a chance to chat w/ Shinoo for awhile. He also hinted that there may be an Elise version coming soon.
A:
gotcha... then i might know which ones you're talking about as i saw some too. thanks!
A:
But Frank's car is an elise with an exige rear clam.. so??
A:
it also has different side panels
A:
also the front wheel arch sticks out further on the Exige. This is most noticeable where the mudflap is. I'm glad to hear it's a prototype and not the Benetec skirts. I will buy the skirts for sure, but I'm not going to pay $4600 either. The freakin' door is less at $4200! Doesn't make sense to me, but oh well.
Shinoo, when do you guys expect to have these available for sale? Do you guys have close up pics?
A:
Here is one from Augment. I will wait to see Sectors version first.

its not a prototype. been avail. in Japan for awhile now. 2k for the sides 1.5k for the front. they do not make a rear diffuser. wet carbon as opposed to dry. Not as nice as Reverie. the "evil banned one" has there wing too. very nice, and functional. one can only assume the s111 plans on making copies. hopefully they will charge a copy/fake/imitation price since they are not the creators.
A:
do you have a link for the skirts?

thanks for the post. is there any links to this product?

I have a friend who own a "speed shop" here in the Bay Area. He mentioned to me that he could do parts in fiberglass or CF if given enough interest. I assume he meant we would need a Group Buy number to make it feasible for him to go ahead with any projects, and I assume he would need a piece to build the molds.
Just throwing the idea out there....

Will the Augment kit work only with the Exige? Or will it work with the elise also?

The side skirts you see on the yellow Exige aren't going to work on the Elise. They have a bunch of carbon fiber body panels for the Elise, but it looks like what they call the "Side Step" is a complete replacement rocker panel for the Elise, and is 780,000 yen which is roughly $6800.

Will any of the pieces off of the kit work? The whole thing is awsome!!! Or does anyone know of something with this style for the elise?

Available where in Japan? I've been Googling for 2 hours now and I can't turn anything up. What is the name of the manufacturer?
A:
Anyone know who the manufacturer of those side skirts is?
A:
So Trial has some interesting Elise and Exige engine parts on their site, but the cool wing and front splitter on their demo car are not listed:
Trial Elise/Exige Parts
Trial Exige Photos
So I guess it is not Trial Looks like I'll be spending some time searching for Tokyo Auto Salon photos...
