Q:
will the side skirt fit with the elise ?
I don't think so because the Exige's front fender flares out a bit more than on the Elise.

True, but if money isn't too important (I don't know the cost), you can replace the Elise access panels (between the door and the front wheel) with ones from the Exige. The side skirts would then fit on an Elise.

can the door/hinge access panel from the exige fit the elise?

Another question what about the rear fender, is it the same as the Exige, (i.e. if you put an exige rear clam on top the rear fender will match?)
Did this person who put on an Exige rear clam put up pics?
Thanks.

Yes. That is what is on the black Elise in the pictures above.

I think you are confusing the term clam with the engine cover. The clam is the entire rear body (including fenders). The engine cover goes on the clam and will not fit on an Elise clam.

I think the Exige's clam is also a tiny bit wider than the Elise's however, I don't know if it is actually wider where the skirt attaches to the body.
I believe that is Ronin's car.

For whatever it's worth, I'm changing out the front half of my liz with exige parts. I DID order the hinge access panels for the exige, as I was told that the liz panels won't line up with the exige clam. I'll try and do a comparison as the parts come off...
An interesting note, the Exige body parts are MUCH MUCH more rigid than the Elise parts. The fiberglass on the exige parts are thicker and have a lot more reinforcement in corners and joints. The most note worth area is the front license plate area. Where the Liz is very thin and flexible, the Exige is thick and doesn't flex much at all... I'll venture to guess that the raccon that took out my Liz clam would not have broken the Exige clam...
Best,
Phil
