Broken Airbag Cover Mounting Clips

Interior Exterior

Q:
While taking off the peice of the dash to the right of the passenger's airbag, I manages to rip the airbag cover off. It's mounted on with clips that are obviously designed to break with a rather minimal amount of force applied straight forward. The broken clips unthreaded from the cover, so that makes me think that these clips are replaceable (without needing a whole new airbag cover), but I was just wondering if someone on here can confirm that. I was also considering attaching it with some good uality hook-and-loop (Velcro), but it occurred to me that this is something that's engineered to break away at a certain amount of force, and perhaps the bottom clips are supposed to break before the top ones, so just slapping it on may not be such a good idea. Opinions? Thanks.
A:
The clips are expendable on each removal, whether on airbag depoly or panel serviceing. Part is Clip, cover to dash panel (Option A121U0117F R/B) B121U0117F Qty 4. Lotus Garage lists them for $.85 & $1.85. Symbolic left mine off on 1st service, trying to use velcro as a subsitute. That worked until the dash heated up and the glue got soft. I suspected that they did not have the clips in stock.
