Anyone remove the brackets that holds the sun visor posts? I am tired of looking at them but do not want to mess up the trim.
A:
Make your life easy, leave on the brackets and just cover the shaft with black electrical shrink tubing. Cut a peace of the shrink tubing to length and carefully hold up a lighter and it will shrink for a perfect fit . When you look from the front of the car through the window you will not even notice the now camouflaged brackets.

The metal silver posts unscrew from the black bracket. Easy to remove the post leaving the black bracket.
Removing the bracket requires removing the facia and then pulling (riveted?) them off the fiberglass windscreen frame.

How is the facia attached? Do I just drill out the rivets on the bracket?
