My $2.50 CDN bumper plugs

Interior Exterior

Q:
My car came with the holes for the front plate drilled. I never really liked having the front plate on but yesterday fate took matters into its own hand and the front of the car scraped, bending the license plate and bracket to all hell (luckily the car didn't actually touch.)
So I went and found a pair of trim panel retainers at Canadian Tire... painted them up and removed my plate. Can't go wrong at $2.50 CDN! The paint is an almost perfect match (with metallic flake!) I used flash in the picture and the parts aren't buffed yet so they reflect a little differently.
I'm just happy that my first mini project for the Elise turned out

another option is to get an "Elise" sticker for the front plate area. I think SweetDaddy might be able to help if you pm him.
A:

have a look at this thread for what I mean
A:
I had thought about that but I don't like the look of the sticker there and I don't think it would cover the holes
thanks though
A:
Ah yes, bumper plugs; reminds me of my Porsche days. Remember those, Scott in Houston, from before the war?
A:
You probably already considered this, but this plate comes from a sill plate kit that Lotus sells through the dealers. It's metal, and I like it (obviously).
