Completed Schroth 6pt/V-Force bar install...

Interior Exterior

Q:
Figured some would like to see the 6pt install. And I havn't really seen anyone else use the V-Force bar. Thanks to Sector111 for helping sort out my initial belt issue. Install was super easy, I went really slow and took about 2 hours. The bar literally took about 6 minutes to install(did it last night without removing the seats). I've had harnesses in the past three track cars, Audi TT, Turbo Miata, and SVT Contour, and this is my favorite setup of them all. Easy to instal, simple to adjust, very comfortable and secure.
And just one of the Exige topless:

Are you positive that it's safe to run the crotch straps around the front of the seat like that? My understanding from Shinoo and the Schroth manuals is that's a big no-no.
A:
pretty sure andy is right about that as well. I cant see how that set up would do anything unless, well you got a couple of bowling balls(made of iron) on you, and even then................
A:
I do have the ASM belts as well. My reason for running the 6pt is simply to keep the buckle where I want it. With 4pt systems I've always run into the problem if the buckle riding up on me. The main intention of the sub belts is to keep the buckle in place and allow the ASM to take care of the anti-sub'ing, however you say that.
A:
Where exactly did you bolt the crotch straps to?
A:
They are wrapped around the Sector 111 sub-belt bar that is bolted to the bottom of the seat.
A:
Ah, thanks.
Looks like seat out time again...
