Q:
The molding on the edges (above the side windows) of my hard top is coming off and is only held in place at two points across it. It's also full of dirt.
Do these serve any purpose or can I just pull them off, clay off the residul glue and polish the edges. I think it would look pretty good.
Has anyone else done this?

Just noticed mine has started to peel away. What kind of glue holds this trim on? Or better yet, what kind would be better....

mine has been like that since day one, just check it every couple days and push it on. Its stays put unless someone grabs it.

Mine has not come off.
I would be afraid of the edge chipping if it were removed.
But give it a try, it might look good.

I've pulled mine off completly. I think it's a much cleaner look, but there are some small lumps of glue on the edge which I need to remove. Any ideas as to what can be used? I'm going to try WD-40 initially.
