I have never seen yellow with tan and was wondering if anyone have done it?

I think yellow is only offered from the factory with black interior, though I recall having seen a Saffron/Red car at some point.

yellow with tan doesn't sound too tempting, but what do I know since I have yellow/red.

I thought the same thing until I saw it in person. Then I bought the car. The dark blue looks very kick ass. Why be a bumble bee with all black and yellow? Dare to be different! Go for the tan.

When I bought my car last year in July at Scottsdale Lotus, they had a Yellow with the Biscuit interior. If I had gone with the Yellow, I would have gotten it with the Biscuit. I think it looks great and gets away from the bumble bee look, which I personally never liked about yellow and black. When I ordered my 997 I got yellow and grey to also avoid this. But of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What is nice about our cars is that it is relatively easy to swap interior colors.

I think the interior looks awesome. Truthfully, I would buy the car new like that if it was still an option. It's different, which makes it cool in my book.

Here are a couple yellow/blue I found online. Having trouble getting a pal with a digital camera to snap a few pics (still at work). In person, the blue leather doesn't stand out that much. It is dark and has tons of character. Enjoy!
