We figured out how to fit my fat ass into it. Turns out there is quite a bit of padding in the side bolsters so we just removed it and I fit fine now.
So, it is no longer for sale. It is back in the car

Hey guys, new elise owner here and one of the first mods I'm interested in is seat replacement. One problem that I havn't seen mentioned in this post is adjustability. Its mandatory that I keep forward and back adjustablility. My dad is 5'4 and I'm 5'9(with significantly longer legs) and I sit much further back. Intention is for the track and 5 or 6 point harnesses, we will both be driving and that is the sole reason we were stuck with stock seats in our miata(unhappily). We were thinking of going with Exige seats because I assume they bolt right in and retain adjustability?
Do any of the other after market seats retain sliding adjustability?

I had the reverie musilaine seat from sector 111 and it does allow for adjustablity. its a nice set up, and if i was keeping the car, there is no way i would have sold it. the other reverie seat model is much more aggresive in offering lateral support, but may be a problem for different body types. i sat in one and it was a tight fit. the musilanne is more forgiving for differnt sized people IMO.

We actually came very close to calling you. If you were in Cali we probably would have bought your car. My dad and I are both thin and prefer tight seats coming from formula cars and karts. That is great news that those all retain adjustability as well. I'm almost afraid to ask how much do exige seats cost from the factory?
