Anyone mod the passenger footrest for more leg room? It is easy to remove but my wife would prefer a footrest if it were a little further back. The sides also taper toward the passenger so it can not be reversed for a flatter angle. Maybe it could become a glove compartment.

A little cutting and repositioned velcro and I now have a footrest that can be reversed as well as removed for taller passengers.
